We started this company in 2022 because we realized there was an unmet need for any one company to provide professional on-site concierge services and the expertise to plan and execute personable, engaging events.

Our company is built by hospitality professionals with a passion for and a long history of building and supporting teams. As active members and leaders within the Concierge Association of Colorado, our team keeps up with current events and offerings throughout the city and state. Nelson Laux- Founder

Nelson Laux

Founder

Nelson started his career in the multifamily industry in 2006 after spending several years working in the hospitality industry. Over 20 years, he cultivated a unique skill set that developed from building a successful concierge and valet program from grass roots. He was recognized for his effort by being made a Partner at Red Peak, a Denver based owner and operator of apartments.

The program’s value was greatly realized at the property level amongst residents as it sought to create a true, vibrant community as well at the executive level with immediate cost savings and new revenue streams.

Nelson has extensive experience leading teams at luxury properties as the Concierge Director, Community Director and as a Regional Portfolio Director. His driving passion for serving others and creating memorable experiences drove him him to start Experiential Living in 2022.

Nelson and his wife Alissa enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors (running, biking, and hiking) with their five kids.

Zachary Johnson

Zachary Johnson

Director of Operations

Zac moved to Denver from his hometown of Glenwood Springs, Colorado in 2001 to complete his bachelor’s degree. After graduating from Metro State University, he was fortunate to enter the world of guest experience enhancement as a concierge at the Marriott City Center. A few years later he moved to the Grand Hyatt Denver to continue his professional growth.

For over twenty years he has been a leader and team builder in the hospitality community. In serving on the Board of Directors for the Concierge Association of Colorado as President, Membership Director, Education Director, and Public Relations Director he has and continues to guide and support a generation of professional concierge.

Zac has been recognized by the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association as a “star of the industry”, and was a proud member of Les Clefs d’Or as the Chef Concierge at the luxurious Brown Place Hotel & Spa, a position he held for over a decade. Today, as the Director of Operations for Experiential Living, he brings a wealth of experience, know-how, a passion for genuine hospitality, and service excellence to the multifamily industry.
